NORED Electricity Pty (Ltd) hereby informs all its esteemed stakeholders and valued customers that the Electricity Control Board (ECB) has granted an electricity average tariffs increase of 3.8% for the Financial Year 2025/2026, effective 01st August 2025 until 30th June 2026.
However, the change in tariffs for our pre-paid customers would only be implemented effective 25th August 2025. The increment is primarily due to the average increase in the bulk electricity tariff granted to the National Utility in May 2025, and implemented with effect from the 01st July 2025. NORED is cognizant of the current economic situation and the impact of electricity cost on our customers. However, the tariffs adjustment is granted to ensure a continued supplying and distribution of electricity supply to our customers during these challenging times.
